Drinking alcohol is the norm in our society. It has become such a natural thing to do that many people can barely believe that somebody might choose not to drink. In this post, I'll talk about the social aspects of not drinking, my own experiences with it, facts about how our bodies deal with alcohol, and I'll share some tips on drinking in relation to weight loss/ maintenance and a healthy lifestyle. I just want to make it clear that I'm not condemning alcohol completely or trying to make anyone who enjoys it stop drinking occasionally. I'm just talking about my experiences as somebody who chooses not to drink.
Chai lattes are the ultimate comfort drink for me. The warm flavour of the spices combined with milk and a little bit of sweetness can even make the worst days just a little bit better. Sitting at a desk all day is detrimental to our health, but a big part of the population still does it for five days each week. Find out what can be done to promote a healthier lifestyle in an office environment!
Who doesn't like hummus? It's quick, delicious, versatile and goes with several dishes. Served with bread or vegetable sticks, it's perfect for a quick snack, and it's always a crowd pleaser at parties. You'll have healthy home made hummus in just five minutes!

You can try the four exercises below to strengthen your hips!
Make these layered heart biscuits for yourself or a loved one if you feel like a special treat! They're almost too pretty to eat, but taste amazing too.
Can you squat down until you almost sit on the floor while keeping your feet flat on the floor too? Can you bend down and touch your toes? If not, it is time to work on some hip and lower body mobility!
Are you sitting for most of the day, either at work, at home or in your car? If so, it might be a good idea to do something for your health and wellbeing and look for ways to get a little bit more active.
