These chocolate mousse almond bites taste a little bit like a healthier version of Ferrero Rocher. Give them a try and let me know what you think!
Ingredients:
2-3 handfuls chopped almonds
Dark chocolate of your choice
Instructions:
Prepare the avocado chocolate mousse using this recipe and put the finished mousse aside. Then, roast the chopped almonds in a pan until golden-brown. Add the roasted almonds to the chocolate mousse and mix well. Put the chocolate mousse nut mixture into a silicone form with small compartments (for example a silicone ice cube tray or praline mould), and place it in the freezer for 20-30 minutes. After 20 minutes, melt the dark chocolate in a water bath. Then, get the chocolate mousse “cubes” out of the freezer, coat them with the chocolate, and place them in the fridge on a plate lined with parchment paper. Serve them right out of the fridge.
