Quick and easy basil pesto

Who doesn’t like pesto? It’s an easy way to add some taste to pasta or gnocchi, it’s not too difficult to make and it usually is a crowd pleaser; especially if it’s homemade. Give this one a try!

Ingredients:

2 cups fresh basil

1/2 cup pine nuts

1/2 cup grated parmesan

1/2 clove garlic (crushed)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons olive oil

salt to taste

 

Instructions:

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until they are combined well, but some texture still remains. Serve with pasta, gnocchi, vegetables or whatever else you like!
