Lemon & basil roasted chickpeas

Try this delicious, natural snack next time you’re craving something crunchy! These roasted chickpeas are easy to make, taste good, and have good protein and fiber contents (see below)!

 

Ingredients:

2 cups canned chickpeas, drained and patted dry

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper (depending on how spicy you like it)

1 teaspoon dried & ground basil

3 teaspoons lemon juice

 

Instructions:

Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Then, place the chickpeas on a tray lined with parchment paper, put it in the oven, and bake at 150Β°C for 30- 45 minutes (until the chickpeas are crispy, but not yet too hard).

Calories: 496

Carbs: 82g (fiber around 20g)

Protein: 24g

Fat: 8g
