Try this delicious, natural snack next time you’re craving something crunchy! These roasted chickpeas are easy to make, taste good, and have good protein and fiber contents (see below)!
2 cups canned chickpeas, drained and patted dry
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper (depending on how spicy you like it)
1 teaspoon dried & ground basil
3 teaspoons lemon juice
Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Then, place the chickpeas on a tray lined with parchment paper, put it in the oven, and bake at 150°C for 30- 45 minutes (until the chickpeas are crispy, but not yet too hard).
