Protein bars are awesome, right? I love to have them as a quick snack, especially as I'm strength training on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the are also pretty expensive and often have ingredients that aren't absolutely necessary. Cookie dough is the ultimate comfort food. And it's usually high in refined sugar and refined flour. Although it's absolutely possible to enjoy treats like that occasionally and still reach your fitness goals, I've always enjoyed creating "healthified" versions of my favourite "treat" foods.
